Beekman

Beekman Place is a unique neighborhood in the East Fifties, known for its spectacular river views and beautiful townhouse architecture. The small enclave is centered on the two-blocks-long Beekman Place, and though apartment sales at any time—whether co-op or condo-- are limited, they are worth the wait. The area is marked by legendary pre-war structures, and many believe it to house some of New York City’s grandest and best apartments.

Recent developments in the neighborhood include the Beekman Regent, a 19th century landmark building turned 21st century condominium, with all the trappings of modern luxury, and the Grand Beekman, a 32-story tower which offers a garden court.

The neighborhood is conveniently accessible by car via the FDR Drive, and by subway, with several trains located within walking distance.
