Personal connections, concern for your happiness, charisma- additional characteristics that are rare to find all in one broker. Yet, I found all these things when working with May Amos from Miron Properties. I moved to NYC on short notice for my company who is establishing their presence on the East Coast. I had never been to NY and was working with a very tight timeline. Thank goodness I was able to work with May Amos who took me under her wings and found the best possible living situation for me. With a quick phone call, May asked me very pointed questions to understand what was most important to me- everything from area, finances, amenities, transportation...you name it! She took the time to educate me on what to look for and what was available in my price range. One week later when I arrived in NYC- she had a full day of amazing properties ready for us to view- organized by area. She took me around and showed me the different burrows and what each had to offer. I could tell by her organizational skills that by the end of the day we would find my perfect NYC apartment. May was greeted warmly by the staff from each of the properties I visited so I could tell she had a good relationship with them and was not showing me properties she did not have experience with. After viewing each apartment she would gauge my interest and it became clear she soon had a better understanding of what I wanted in an apartment than she did! Needless to say- by the end of the day I had found my perfect place and 6 weeks later I still feel that way. It was good to see about 5 other properties though- to understand the market and what was out there. I was pleasantly surprised by my first broker experience. May was the first friendly face I saw in NYC- and her professionalism and dedication to helping me find the perfect apartment with little effort on my end was the best possible situation for me. I would recommend her as a broker to anyone- whether you''re moving to Manhattan for the first time or have lived her all your life.
