Central Park South

Central Park South may cover a small distance, but it packs a big punch in terms of real estate offerings, arts and culture, and shopping and dining.

The area’s co-ops and condos offer arguably the most famous views of Central Park—the skyline of Central Park West on the one side, and the horse-drawn carriages lining Fifth Avenue on the other. Venerable hotels such as the Plaza and the Ritz-Carlton now have condominium residences for sale, and Columbus Circle buildings like the Time Warner Center have similar luxury properties for sale and rent.

The Time Warner Center makes living in the vicinity of Columbus Circle ridiculously convenient. The mall is a transportation hub, serviced by three different subway lines and local and express trains, and a one-stop destination for shopping needs. A Whole Foods Market occupies the bottom floor of the Time Warner Center, while the other levels are dotted with various retailers and eateries. Next door at the Mandarin Oriental hotel, take in the stunning park views with a cocktail at MOBar.
